Moldovan Service Members Start Military Training in Hohenfels

CHISINAU, February 21, 2022 - The National Army soldiers participate in the multinational exercise "KFOR 30 Mission Rehearsal Exercise" which takes place within February 5-26, this year, at the Training Center in Hohenfels, Germany.

The purpose of the exercise is to train contingents of peacekeepers to be seconded in peacekeeping operations.

According to the training scenario, the Moldovan military, together with colleagues from other armies, carry out patrols in the area of responsibility, crowd control and guarding of the mobile observation post, as well as genetic research, to identify and assess ground conditions and neutralize explosive objects territory.

This year`s Mission Rehearsal Exercise brings together soldiers from Albania, Armenia, Italy, Latvia, northern Macedonia, the United States and others.

The National Army has participated in military exercises in Germany since 2012.
