NATO Liaison Office Representative, decorated with the Medal "For Cooperation"
CHISINAU, February 21, 2022 - Barbora Paclíková, Coordinator of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) Defense Capacity Building Initiative (DCBI) in Moldova, was awarded the "For Cooperation" medal today at the Ministry of Defense.
The distinction was handed over by the Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii, for his personal contribution in strengthening the collaboration between the defense institution of the Republic of Moldova and NATO, as well as on the occasion of the end of the mandate in our country.
Thus, during the ceremony, Anatolie Nosatii appreciated the contribution of Barbora Paclíková to facilitate the implementation of assistance programs for the defense institution, with a focus on carrying out a series of projects in the context of the Defense Capacity Building Initiative (DCBI), Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), as well as other reform and development programs in the field.
The Minister of Defense referred, in this sense, to the efforts to promote and carry out the activities of public diplomacy, training of the National Army, human resources management, but also to the possibilities of exchanging experience in drafting strategic documents.
It should be noted that Barbora Paclíková also served as interim head of the NATO Liaison Office (OLN) in the Republic of Moldova. For her part, Barbora Paclíková said that it was an honor to represent the North Atlantic Alliance in the Republic of Moldova and to work with the Ministry of Defense in the context of the objectives of transforming the institution according to international democratic standards.
