The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has a new military attaché in the Republic of Moldova
CHISINAU, May 12, 2022 - The Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii had a meeting today with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Chisinau, Steve Fisher during which the new British military attaché Matthew Ellis Eager was presented.
On this occasion, Minister Nosatii congratulated Squadron Commander Eager on his appointment and wished him success during his mandate.
During the meeting, the Minister of Defense referred to the importance of military cooperation between our state and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, appreciating the support provided by the United Kingdom in making international commitments and implementing projects and programs to reform the National Army. In this context, Anatolie Nosatii thanked the British side for the possibility of training the Moldovan military in specialized education institutions, but also in specialized courses conducted by the United Kingdom.
At the same time, officials spoke about the prospects for expanding the Moldovan-British partnership on defense and security.
For his part, military attaché Matthew Ellis Eager said he would work to develop bilateral dialogue and facilitate communication between the two countries` profile structures.
