The Ministry of Defense and the Academy of Public Administration have signed a collaboration agreement

CHISINAU, June 2, 2022 - The Ministry of Defense and the Academy of Public Administration (APA) sign a Cooperation Agreement.

The document was signed by the Minister of Defense, Anatolie Nosatii, and the rector of the APA Oleg Balan today at the headquarters of the defense institution.

The collaboration agreement provides for the strengthening of the functional capacities of the institution and of the human resources capable of contributing to the development of the

professional skills of the staff, as well as the strengthening of institutional integrity.

Among the activities to be carried out in the context of the partnership are the organizations of

continuing education and managerial development courses for the Ministry of Defense employees, participation of teachers and trainers in the development and implementation of training programs by the parties, organization, and conduct of internships in master`s programs and others.

Anatolie Nosatii mentioned during the event that over the years the National Army has had a beautiful collaboration with APA based on reciprocity, appreciating the efforts of the institution`s management in providing study opportunities for the National Army.

In turn, Oleg Balan thanked the Ministry of Defense for cooperation and openness in promoting postgraduate studies and professional development activities among military and civilian

employees.

During the event, the rector, Oleg Balan was decorated with the medal of the National Army "For Cooperation" for the contribution of higher education to the training and professional development of the National Army and institutions and authorities under the Ministry of Defense.

The collaboration between the Ministry of Defense and the Academy of Public Administration dates back to 2009. To date, over 700 civil servants and military personnel have benefited from professional development courses and activities or have done master`s studies in various specializations, including International Relations, Public Administration Management, Information management in public administration, Constitutional law and Administrative law, Economic law and Administrative law.
