Non-Commissioned Officer Dead at Work

CHISINAU, July 13, 2011 — A National Army serviceman of Dacia Heavy Infantry Brigade from Cahul died while doing some housing works.

The accident was held July 12 afternoon. The 38-year-old NCO fell under the wheels of a trailer that was gathering the dry grass on a farmland. As a result, the warrant officer, who has been working in the military for 15 years, died.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation performed by the Ministry of Defense and the Military Prosecution representatives.

The Ministry of Defense expresses its deepest sympathy to the NCO’s family on the loss. The institution will provide all the necessary help to organize the funerals of the serviceman.
