The results of enlistment process discussed at the Ministry of Defense
CHISINAU, August 12, 2022 — The results of the enlistment into the National Army between April and July 2022 were presented today, during a review meeting held at the Ministry of Defense.
The event was attended by the Minister of Defense, Anatolie Nosatii, the commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Eduard Ohladciuc, as well as commanders of the Military-Territorial Centers (CMT) and heads of the Military-Administrative Sections (SAM) from all the districts of the country.
The topics discussed focused on the enlistment process into the mandatory military-service and contract-based service, the training of specialists in the first semester of 2022 within the State Enterprise "Specialist Training Center for the National Army", the results of the selection and admission of study candidates in the "Alexandru cel Bun" Military Academy, but also the problems faced by the military-administrative bodies when fulfilling the task of the recruitment process.
Thus, according to the data, the process of selecting and enlisting recruits into mandatory military service, the best results were obtained by the recruitment-conscription commissions from Rezina, Soldanesti, Causeni, Straseni, Glodeni, Stefan Voda, Donduseni, Drochia, Ialoveni, and Comrat.
According to the head of the Mobilization Resource Management Center and the National Army personnel, Colonel Octavian Druta, during the period in question, 1011 recruits were enlisted into the military service.
Among the enlisted young people, 55% have professional technical education, and the rest — high school and gymnasium.
