Minister of Defense meets with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to our country
CHISINAU, October 4, 2022 — Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii had a meeting with the new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in our country, E.S. Margret Uber.
The dialog focused on bilateral cooperation on the military dimension, the assistance provided by the German Government in support of defense reform, and forward-looking projects in the field.
The two officials also exchanged views on the security situation in the region, the current crises facing Moldova, and the significant support offered by our country for refugees from Ukraine.
Minister Nosatii appreciated Germany`s contribution to the Ministry of Defense in the field of training, logistics, and development of the quality management system of weapons and ammunition stocks.
The official also thanked the German side for the support in promoting the projects and assistance packages financed by the European Union Peace Instrument, intended for the National Army.
In turn, the E.S. Margret Uber mentioned that it will work to strengthen the cooperation relations between our countries, including in the field of defense, through new initiatives and projects aimed at modernizing the defense institution of the Republic of Moldova.
