Review meeting, at the Ministry of Defense

CHISINAU, December 29, 2022 — The balance meeting for the year 2022 took place today at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army, the heads of subdivisions, institutions, as well as the commanders of military units and territorial administrative-military bodies.

During the meeting, the achievements of the current year were reviewed, including the training of the personnel in exercises, specialized courses, as well as participation in international peacekeeping missions.

Other topics referred to the renovation projects of the National Army infrastructure, completed this year, the service and activity conditions of the force, as well as the measures to improve them undertaken in the context of the modernization and transformation actions of the defense institution.

“I know that this year each of you has made significant efforts for the unit, subdivision, institution you manage to fulfill its missions, despite the challenges and crises the whole country is facing. I am glad to note that many of the objectives we proposed have been achieved”, the Minister of Defense mentioned during the meeting.

Anatolie Nosatii asked those present for maximum responsibility and involvement in the continuation of the initiated projects, the implementation of new programs aimed at the development of the National Army and, respectively, the achievement of the major objective of modernizing the defense sector of the Republic of Moldova.

At the end, for special merits in the activity, a group of military was decorated with distinctions and diplomas.

At the same time, on the occasion of the winter holidays, the members of the ensemble “Doina Armatei” and groups of wishers presented an artistic program.
