The government is improving the process of granting housing space for the military

Chisinau, May 24, 2023 — The existing interpretations and loopholes in the process of establishing the allowance for renting housing space and assigning service homes to military personnel will be eliminated.

In this context, the Government approved amendments to the Regulation on the method of establishing and paying the monthly allowance for the rental of residential space, intended for contract servicemen of the Armed Forces, and the Regulation on the method of granting service housing, administered by The Ministry of Defense and the military units of the National Army.

The approved changes will make the use of budgetary financial resources more efficient and will contribute to the intended use of the respective service residences.
