The First School Bell Rings in Molovata



CHISINAU, September 1, 2011 — The school is like the army, one of the basic pillars of a state, Minister of Defense stated Monday, September 1, on the first school bell ceremony held at Stefan cel Mare High School in Molovata village, Dubasari.

Vitalie Marinuta congratulated pupils and the teaching staff on the beginning of a new school year wishing them to be healthy, optimistic and successful during the studies.

“The school, the army and the church are three pillars our nation is based on. Thus, on the first school bell ring day, I call you to enter your classrooms with courage. Do not forget that books are a precious source of knowledge. If you work hard and obey your teachers, you will get high marks and succeed in everything you do”, the Minister of Defense stated.

Vitalie Marinuta wished teachers only good and grateful pupils and thanked them for their hard work.

“I would like to thank you, teachers, for your patience, for you teach our children to be good, diligent and responsible”, Vitalie Marinuta said. “Thank you for your professionalism and perseverance, as well as for the ability to make the educational process friendly and secure, where children respect each other, thus encouraging their talent and teaching them patriotism”.

At the end of the ceremony, the Minister of Defense gave a TV-set to Stefan cel Mare High School staff wishing them all the best and great achievements in the educational process.

Today is the first day of school for nearly 380 thousand children in Moldova.
