Legal Department

Mission

The legal department has the mission of contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives and the effective implementation of the ministry’s policies by ensuring legal activity and uniform compliance with the regulatory framework.

Areas of activity of the subdivision:

The Directorate performs the functions in the following areas:

1) legal assurance of the activity of the Ministry of Defense;

2) representing the interests of the ministry in courts of law, in relations with natural or legal persons under public or private law, from the country and abroad;

3) drafting normative acts and carrying out their legal expertise;

4) providing legal assistance and methodological support in matters related to the competence of the ministry and in the legal field.
