Personnel and Mobilization Directorate has the mission to contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the General Staff of the National Army, by promoting and implementing an efficient management of human resources, mobilization and administrative-military activity within the National Army.

Military Reconnaissance  Department has the mission to contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the General Staff of the National Army, by implementing an efficient management of military reconnaissance within the National Army.

The mission of the Strategic Planning Division insures the support and the expertise required by the National Army General Staff leadership in the decision-making process on strategic planning of the military organization and contribution of the National Army in term of the type of forces actions and capabilities required for carrying out particular missions, assists the General Staff divisions in the transformation process of the army, implementation of activities and international military cooperation tools, as well as conducts National Army weapons control activities.

The mission of Doctrine and Joint Training Directorate is to assist general planning, organize, run and evaluate the training process within the National Army and institutions of the Ministry of Defense, as well as training of military staff from military educational institutions.

The mission of the Staff Management Directorate is to ensure the documentary support of the administration process, the compliance with the single system of secretarial work and the protocol activity of the Chief of the General Staff of the National Army, Commander of the National Army.

The mission of the Health Department is to prepare the National Army health service for planning and carrying out medical aid activities of servicemen within military units, as well as medical supply of operations (combat actions) or other actions the National Army is in charge of.

Centrul gestionare resurse de mobilizare şi al efectivului Armatei Naţionale are misiunea de a contribui la gestionarea resurselor umane şi tehnico-materiale destinate asigurării funcţionării sistemului naţional de apărare, monitorizează, conduce, controlează activitatea centrelor militare, de asemenea coordonează şi verifică activitatea autorităţile administraţiei publice, instituţiilor publice şi agenţilor economici în domeniul administrativ-militar.
