Demonstration exercises with combat firing, at “JCET-2023” (video)

CHISINAU, November 1, 2023 — The Moldovan and Romanian militaries, participants in the “Joint Combined Exchange Training-2023” (JCET) exercise, carried out practical actions today on the occasion of the Distinguished Visitors Day.

The event was attended by the commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Eduard Ohladciuc, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Brigadier General Sergiu Cirimpei, military attachés, as well as the commander of the 52nd Special Operations Battalion “Băneasa-Otopeni”, lieutenant-colonel Vasile Moldovan.

On this occasion, the officials watched demonstration exercises with combat firing and familiarized themselves with the displays of weaponry and equipment.

The JCET-2023 exercise takes place between October 23 and November 3, currently, at the Training Battalion — the Military Training Base of the National Army in Bulboaca, in accordance with the Training Plan of the National Army for the year 2023.

The Moldovan military has been participating in the JCET since 2009.
