Education and training expenses will be recovered by public entities based on a document approved by the Government

CHISINAU, November 15, 2023 — During today’s meeting, at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the draft of the Government’s decision was approved on how to recover from the state budget the expenses for studies/training borne by public entities in the fields of the military, security, order public and prison administration.

The document includes the framework methodology, which establishes the mandatory period of activity in military service or especially after graduating from educational institutions in the fields of the military, security, public order and other forms of professional training, as well as after completing master’s studies or other forms of development continuous professional.

According to the nominated project, the reimbursement of study/training expenses can be carried out in stages, within a period of up to 2 years, based on an agreement signed by both parties, at the discretion of the public authority/institution.

In case of refusal to voluntarily refund the expenses for studies/training, the public authority/institution initiates a civil action in court.
