National Army Service Members March in the Triumph Arch Square from Bucharest (video)CHISINAU, December 1, 2016 — The service members of the National Army Honor Guard Company marched today in the Triumph Arch Square from Bucharest, within the Military Parade marking Romania’s National Day. Minister of Defense Anatol Salaru also attended the event. The 31 Moldovan officers and NCOs saluted together with colleagues from Romania, as well as with service members from the Guard Battalion of Germany, Representative Battalion of the Polish Army, Regiment “Lancieri di Montebello” from Italy, Honor Guard of Slovakia, squadrons from Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the Marines from the US Navy. The National Army contingent was commanded by Lt. Vitalie Josan, while the State Flag was carried by SFC Tudor Minciuna.
