Training for National Army medical personnel

CHISINAU, March 6, 2024 — A team of military doctors from the United States Armed Forces is training the medical personnel of the National Army within the seminar “Training course on tactical medicine module”. The workshop will be held from 26 February to 7 March 2024 at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun”.

According to the head of the Medical-Military Directorate of the National Army, Colonel-Medic Sergiu Cîrlan, the aim of the activity is to familiarize medical specialists from the units of the National Army with the American practice of providing medical assistance, as well as to exchange experience with Moldovan colleagues.

The source specified that the Moldovan-American seminar takes place in accordance with the National Army’s Training Plan for the current year and the Ministry of Defense and National Army’s Plan of External Activities for 2024.
