Moldovan-American cooperation discussed at the Ministry of Defense

CHISINAU, March 15, 2024 — The Commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Eduard Ohladciuc, had a working meeting with Major General Donn H. Hill, Commander of the Security Assistance Forces Command (SFAC) Fort Liberty, North Carolina, United States of America (USA).

During the meeting, which was also attended by specialists from the subdivisions of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the military officials discussed the current state of bilateral defense cooperation, as well as the assistance provided by the US side in various programs and projects of common interest, including in the context of the partnership between the North Carolina National Guard and the US Army.

The parties also discussed the expertise provided by the Security Force Assistance Brigades (SFAB) group in training Moldovan military personnel, which is taking place in accordance with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan between the Moldovan National Army and the US.
