Exercises with Armed Forces reservists

CHISINAU, March 22, 2024 — The National Army will conduct annual exercises with reservists of the Armed Forces in March this year.

According to the head of the National Army’s Mobilization Resources and Manpower Management Center, Colonel Octavian Druta, the exercises will last five days and are aimed at verifying the reservists’ skills and familiarizing them with the equipment and weapons of the National Army.

The exercises take place in accordance with the requirements of Law No. 1244/2002 on the Armed Forces Reserve, as well as the National Army Training Plan for 2024.

The source noted that last year reservists gathered for training in April, May, June and September.

The Ministry of Defense will inform citizens about the periods of the exercises.
