The achievements of the partnership of the National Army with the OSCE, discussed at the Ministry of Defense

CHISINAU, June 20, 2024 — The State Secretary in the field of defense resources policy, Sergiu Plop, had a meeting with the director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center, deputy head of the OSCE Secretariat, Mrs. Catherine Fearon.

During the dialogue, the officials addressed topics regarding the current security situation in the region, the cooperation between the two institutions and the joint projects carried out in the National Army.

In this context, the Secretary of State Sergiu Plop appreciated the support and assistance provided through the Complex Program in the field of small arms and light weapons (SALW) for the donations of laboratory, analysis and testing equipment intended for the Armament and Ammunition Center of the National Army , as well as the specialized courses offered to the personnel responsible for this field.
