Members of the Military College attended a meeting

CHISINAU, February 2, 2024 — Today at the Ministry of Defence, a meeting of the Military College was held, attended by the Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defence and Public Order, Lilian Carp.

The main topics discussed during the meeting were the examination and validation of the draft Defence Planning Directive for 2025-2027, the draft Medium Term Budget Framework (MTBF) of the Ministry of Defence for 2024-2026, as well as the priorities in the process of modernisation and development of the military infrastructure for the next two years.

At the event, Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatîi, who is also the Chairman of the Military College, stressed the importance of approving the long-term priorities of the defence institution, as well as the efficient planning of actions and financial resources for further implementation of the goal of modernisation and development of the National Army and the national defence sector.

For his part, the Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defence and Public Order, Lilian Carp, noted the progress made by the Ministry of Defence and stressed his support for the modernisation process of the National Army.
