National Army servicemen train at JCET 2024

CHISINAU, February 9, 2024 — The soldiers of the " Fulger" Special Operations Battalion of the National Army are taking part in the JCET- 2024 (Joint Combined Exchange Training) exercise from January 29 until February 16 this year, which is being conducted together with the soldiers of the 52nd Special Operations Battalion “Băneasa — Otopeni” at a training centre in Romania.

The aim of the exercise is to increase the level of interoperability, synchronise operational procedures between the military of the two units and develop capabilities for the execution of special missions.

The exercise includes modules on winter training in mountain environments, advanced combat firing from different weapons and other specific missions.

The exercise “Joint Combined Exchange Training” takes place in accordance with the External Activity Plan of the Ministry of Defence and the National Army of the Republic of Moldova for 2024.

It should be noted that the troops of the Special Operations Battalion " Fulger" have been participating in the JCET since 2009.
