National Army soldiers participate in the exercise „KFOR 33 Mission Rehearsal Exercise”

CHISINAU, February 13, 2024 — More than 60 Moldovan military personnel are taking part in the KFOR 33 Mission Rehearsal Exercise, which is taking place from January 26 to February 14 at the Military Training Centre in Hohenfels, Germany.

The aim of the exercise is to prepare the military contingents of the participating countries for their subsequent deployment to the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.

Alongside the Moldovan contingent, military personnel from Albania, Armenia, Latvia, Romania, Italy, North Macedonia, Slovenia and the United States are taking part in the training modules.

Participation in the Mission Rehearsal Exercise is part of the Ministry of Defence’s External Activity Plan for 2024.

It should be noted that the National Army has been participating in exercises in Germany since 2012.
