Military Students Conducted Shooting Drills (video)

CHISINAU, March 19, 2021 - The students of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces "Alexandru cel Bun" executed, within March 17-18, combat shootings at the Military Training Base of the National Army from Bulboaca.

According to the Vice-Rector for Education, Colonel Gheorghe Turcanu, the aim of the shootings was to prepare and train the infantry and artillery platoons for the actions on the battleground.

The source specified that the military students are shooting from the AKM rifle, RPK machine gun, PKT, AG-7 grenade launcher, the 2A28 gun and M-30 mortar. At the same time, during the training, the measures to prevent the infection with the new type SARS Cov-2 virus were observed.

The activity is carried out in compliance with the training plan of the Military Academy of Armed Forces for 2021.
